At the core, Robyn is an abstract photographer and synthesizer. As a Washington D.C. native, (b.1980) from a science and technology family, she holds an M. Arch from Tulane. Residing in New York City since 2004, she has accumulated 36 passport stamps and achieved an 18 year career in architecture and construction. Under the umbrella RYSQ, her mixed media photography and fabrication work has been on exhibit in NYC and New Orleans, exploring the notion of “Context brings Content.” Robyn’s recent work entitled SQRYPT embodies the next phase of RYSQ. The Content is Abstract frames of memorable places, synthesized in the Context of elements and building materials to prompt new Real content. Since Architecture is truly the Art of Process, phasing an idea from the Abstract to Real, SQRYPT explores this notion to redefine our built environment
